How to answer: Choose the context and test length first. For every statement, rate how often it has generally been true for you over the last few weeks: Never, Rarely, Sometimes, Often, or Almost always.
Test length: Quick uses 16 core statements. Full uses 24 statements by adding four exhaustion and four disengagement items. Both versions keep the two dimensions evenly represented and keep direct and reverse-scored statements balanced.
Scoring: Responses score from 0 to 4. Some statements are phrased in the opposite direction and are reverse-scored. Each dimension is calculated as a 0.00–4.00 mean, then also displayed on a 0–100 scale for easier visual comparison. The 0–100 display does not create separate severity bands.
Interpreting the profile: The result uses a descriptive midpoint zone from 1.75 to 2.25 for each dimension. Scores below 1.75 are described as lower, scores within 1.75–2.25 as midpoint, and scores above 2.25 as higher. These are descriptive profile labels, not diagnostic thresholds.
Context note: Burnout is formally used for occupational stress in ICD-11. The Study and Personal Demands options use the same exhaustion/disengagement framework as a broader stress-awareness check for sustained demands.
