Classic: one pod lights gold at a random position and random moment — tap it as fast as possible. If a light times out before you reach it, it counts as a missed light.
Go/No-Go: lights are green (tap) or red (do not tap). Tapping a red counts as a false tap; letting a red expire is correct. This adds the decision layer that separates pure speed from controlled speed.
Multi-Target: several pods light at once — clear the whole wave, then the next wave appears. Trains scanning and rapid re-aiming, not just a single reaction.
Scores:
Avg Reaction is measured from the instant a light turns on to your tap, in milliseconds, over correct taps only.
Missed lights, wrong-pod taps, and false taps each get their own result in every mode — fast but sloppy shows up in the numbers.
A wrong-pod tap invalidates the reaction time of the next hit, so mashing the board produces a wall of errors instead of a fast average.
Notes:
This is the screen version of the light-pod drills used in gyms and team training. A touchscreen works best; on desktop, use the mouse. Larger screens make the physical reach component bigger, phones make it more of a pure visual reaction drill.
