Objective:
Remove all 144 tiles from the board by matching pairs of identical tiles.
Rules:
- Only "free" tiles can be selected — a tile is free if its left OR right side is open (not blocked by another tile)
- Tiles covered by other tiles on top cannot be selected
- Click two matching tiles to remove them from the board
- Flowers (🀢🀣🀤🀥) can match any other flower
- Seasons (🀦🀧🀨🀩) can match any other season
Tools:
- Hint: Highlights a matching pair if one exists
- Undo: Reverses your last move
- Shuffle: Rearranges remaining tiles (use when stuck)
Tile Suits:
- Characters (萬): Numbers 1-9 with Chinese characters
- Bamboos (索): Numbers 1-9 depicted as bamboo sticks
- Circles (筒): Numbers 1-9 shown as circles/dots
- Winds: East, South, West, North
- Dragons: Red, Green, White
- Flowers & Seasons: Special bonus tiles
Tips:
- Focus on clearing tiles from the top layers first
- Avoid matching tiles that will block others
- Keep an eye on the "Free Pairs" counter — if it reaches 0 with tiles remaining, you're stuck
- Use Shuffle sparingly — it doesn't guarantee a solvable state
