🔐 Crack the Code

How to play:

• A secret 3-digit code is generated (digits 0-9, can repeat)
• You receive clues about different number combinations
• Each clue tells you how many digits are correct and whether they're in the right position
• Use logic to eliminate possibilities and deduce the secret code

Understanding the clues:

• "X correct, right position" — X digits are correct AND in the correct spot
• "X correct, wrong position" — X digits are in the code but in different positions
• "Nothing correct" — None of these digits appear in the code

Example:

• If the code is 394 and clue shows 3-1-9:
• "1 correct, right position" (the 3 is correct and in position 1)
• "1 correct, wrong position" (the 9 is in the code but not in position 3)

Difficulty levels:

• Easy: 5 clues — more information to work with
• Medium: 4 clues — balanced challenge
• Hard: 3 clues — minimal information, maximum deduction

Tips:

• Start by identifying digits that are definitely NOT in the code ("nothing correct" clues)
• Cross-reference clues to narrow down positions
• Write down possibilities if needed
