🎯 How to Use

• Choose Set A, B, C, or D, a difficulty, and a test length, then press Start. The default Balanced Test stays evenly divided across the three skill areas: 4 questions per area in Short, 8 in Standard, and 12 in Extended.
• Advanced Settings includes timing and Practice Focus. Choosing a practice focus uses fixed questions from all four sets in that skill, supports all three test lengths, and gives immediate right/wrong feedback after each answer.
• Each set contains fixed scored question banks. Balanced Test repeat runs draw a different combination from the selected set and difficulty; focused practice draws from the larger combined fixed bank.
• In Balanced Test, selecting an answer moves directly to the next question. In focused practice, the correct answer is shown briefly before the next question. You can also use keys 1–4.
• Standard timing allows 60 seconds per question on average. Fast, Relaxed, and Untimed modes are also available. Feedback time in focused practice does not use session time.
• The session clock and per-question timing pause while the page is hidden and while the End Test confirmation is open. End Test aborts the current run and returns to the start without saving a result.

📈 Difficulty

Easy emphasizes direct calculations and one-step word problems. Medium adds two-step arithmetic and reverse calculations. Hard uses combined rates, weighted averages, compound percentage changes, work rates, and denser multi-step problems. Super Hard adds longer chains of arithmetic relationships and more demanding reverse reasoning. Mixed draws evenly from all four levels.

🧮 Question Coverage

Number Operations & Averages covers arithmetic operations, fractions, means, missing values, sequences, and equations. Ratios, Rates & Percentages covers proportions, unit rates, percentage change, reverse percentages, compound changes, and average rates. Applied Arithmetic Problems covers money, wages, distance-rate-time, work rates, mixtures, break-even calculations, margins, commissions, interest, and everyday quantitative problems. These are also common problem types in general numerical and job aptitude assessments.

📊 Scoring

1 point per correct answer. Unanswered questions score 0. The results screen shows your total score, answered accuracy, average answer time, session settings, and a breakdown of the skills included in that run. Missed and unanswered questions can be reviewed with the method and explanation. The performance bands describe only this browser test and are not population norms.
