⚡ Task-Switch RT Test

⚠️ This test requires a keyboard. Arrow keys are used to respond to stimuli.

How to Use (click to expand)
  1. Click the test area (or press Space) to begin.
  2. On each trial, a cue will appear telling you which task to perform:
    • COLOR task: Press Left Arrow for Blue/Green, Right Arrow for Red/Yellow
    • SHAPE task: Press Left Arrow for Circle, Right Arrow for Square/Triangle
  3. The task switches randomly throughout the session based on your switch rate setting.
  4. Respond as quickly and accurately as possible before the stimulus disappears.
  5. Press Esc to pause/resume at any time.
  6. The test measures your cognitive flexibility and switching cost (difference between repeat vs switch trials).
  7. After completing, you'll see accuracy, reaction times, and switch cost analysis.
