Objective: Move all 52 cards to the four foundations, building each suit upward from Ace to King.

Stock: Click or tap the stock to draw up to three cards to the waste. If fewer than three cards remain, the remaining one or two are drawn. When the stock is empty, click or tap the empty stock slot to recycle the remaining waste cards back into the stock. Recycling is unlimited.
Waste: Only the top waste card can be played.
Tableau: Build downward in alternating colors. Properly ordered face-up groups can move together. Only a King, or a group beginning with a King, can move to an empty column.
Foundations: Build upward by suit from Ace to King.

How to move cards: Click or tap a playable card to select it, then click or tap the destination pile. On desktop, you can also drag cards and valid face-up sequences directly to a legal destination. Click or tap the selected card again to deselect it. When Double-Click / Double-Tap to Foundation is on, double-click or double-tap an eligible card to send it directly to its foundation.

Scoring: +10 for each card moved to a foundation, +5 for moving a waste card to the tableau, and −15 for moving a card back from a foundation to the tableau. Undo is unlimited, but each undo subtracts 2 points.

Auto-Complete: Once every tableau card is face-up, Auto-Complete appears only when the remaining position has been verified as finishable under the current Draw 3 stock and waste order. It then completes the foundations automatically.

New Deal: Use New Deal during a game to immediately start a fresh shuffled deal with the current setting.

Tips: Prefer moves that reveal face-down cards. Keep empty columns available when possible, and avoid sending a card to a foundation too early if you may still need it to build the tableau.

What Does Solitaire Turn 3 Practice?

Planning around the three-card draw

Solitaire Turn 3, also called Draw 3 Solitaire or 3 Card Solitaire, adds an extra planning problem to classic Klondike. Each stock action exposes up to three cards, but only the top waste card can be played. That means a useful card may remain buried until a later pass through the stock. You need to think about which waste cards to remove, when to recycle the stock, and how a move may change which cards become reachable on the next pass. If you want the easier one-card version, Solitaire Turn 1 makes every stock card available one at a time.

Sequencing and board scanning

The tableau still follows standard Klondike rules: build downward in alternating colors, move valid sequences together, and place Kings or King-led sequences into empty columns. Because Draw 3 restricts stock access, it is useful to scan the whole board before making a move. A card that looks ready for the foundation may still be useful in the tableau, while moving one waste card can change the order of future stock access. The tableau rules are familiar, but stock management becomes more important because you cannot freely access every card. This makes Draw 3 more strategic without changing the basic structure of Klondike.

Players who enjoy open-ended card strategy

There is no opponent and no forced time limit, so you can study a difficult position for as long as you want. Do not click through the stock automatically. Notice the top waste card after each three-card draw and remember important cards that remain covered. Removing one waste card can change which cards become exposed on the next cycle, so a move can be valuable even when it does not immediately uncover a tableau card.

Open tableau cards before committing too much to foundations

Turning face-down tableau cards face-up is usually a strong priority because it creates new information and new moves. Be cautious about sending every available card to the foundations immediately if that card could still help build a tableau sequence. Use Undo to compare alternatives, and let Auto-Complete handle the final foundation sequence when the app confirms that the remaining Draw 3 position can be completed automatically.
