📘 Detailed Instructions
The Geometric Rule:
Each number is multiplied by a constant ratio to get the next
Example: 3, 6, 12, 24... (multiply by 2 each time)
Unlike arithmetic sequences that add, geometric sequences multiply
Difficulty levels:
Easy:
Simple ratios like ×2, ×3, ×10
Medium:
Larger multipliers (×4, ×5) and division patterns (÷2, ÷3)
Hard:
Mixed ratios, larger numbers, and less obvious patterns
Session types:
Time-based:
Solve as many sequences as possible in 60 seconds
Trial-based:
Complete 20 sequences as accurately as possible
Tips:
Divide consecutive numbers to find the ratio (e.g., 12÷6=2, so ×2)
If numbers are getting smaller, it's division (or multiplying by a fraction)
Check your ratio on multiple pairs to confirm the pattern
