📘 Detailed Instructions
What makes this challenging:
Dual Block Stack requires you to control two completely independent block stacking games at the same time. Each board has its own pieces, scoring, and level progression. This trains divided attention, multitasking, and executive function - you must constantly switch between boards while maintaining awareness of both.
Game Modes:
Training Mode: Customize fall speed and practice your multitasking skills
Arcade Mode: Progress through 15 levels on both boards simultaneously. Clear 10 lines per level on each board to advance.
Controls - LEFT BOARD:
A/D: Move piece left/right
S: Soft drop (move down faster)
W: Rotate piece
Left Shift: Hard drop (instantly place piece)
Controls - RIGHT BOARD:
←/→: Move piece left/right
↓: Soft drop (move down faster)
↑: Rotate piece
Right Shift: Hard drop (instantly place piece)
General Controls:
P: Pause / Resume
ESC: End game
Scoring:
Single line: 100 × level
Double: 300 × level
Triple: 500 × level
Quad (4 lines): 800 × level
Soft drop: 1 point per cell
Hard drop: 2 points per cell
Scores are tracked independently for each board and combined for your total score
Game Over:
The game ends when either board fills up to the top. Your goal is to keep both boards alive as long as possible!
Tips for Success:
Start slow - get comfortable with the controls on each side
Use hard drops frequently to quickly handle one board and switch to the other
Develop a rhythm: handle urgent situations first, then optimize when you have time
In arcade mode, both boards level up independently when they each clear 10 lines
