What this test measures:
This test trains visual memory for a moving object's last seen position. You watch an object move, it disappears, and after a short memory delay you click where you remember it vanishing. It's a core skill for situational awareness — knowing where things last were when you can no longer see them.
How it works:
- Press Start Test (or Space) to begin
- A moving circle (or up to three) appears and travels across the screen
- Each circle disappears at some point during its motion
- After a memory delay (the Hide Duration), click where it was when it vanished
- For multiple targets, click the one you remember best — error is measured to the nearest target
- The closer your click to the actual vanish position, the higher your score
- Press Pause (or Space) to pause/resume at any time
Settings:
- Total Trials: 10–30 per session
- Number of Targets: 1 (easy) to 3 (hard)
- Speed: Slow / Medium / Fast
- Hide Duration (Advanced): 500–2000ms memory delay before you can click, or random per-trial timing for added challenge
