📖 Detailed Instructions

What this test measures:

This test trains visual memory for a moving object's last seen position. You watch an object move, it disappears, and after a short memory delay you click where you remember it vanishing. It's a core skill for situational awareness — knowing where things last were when you can no longer see them.

How it works:

  1. Press Start Test (or Space) to begin
  2. A moving circle (or up to three) appears and travels across the screen
  3. Each circle disappears at some point during its motion
  4. After a memory delay (the Hide Duration), click where it was when it vanished
  5. For multiple targets, click the one you remember best — error is measured to the nearest target
  6. The closer your click to the actual vanish position, the higher your score
  7. Press Pause (or Space) to pause/resume at any time
