About this test: The Cube Net Folding Test measures your ability to mentally transform 2D patterns into 3D objects, a core spatial visualization skill.
How it works:
- You'll see a 2D net (unfolded cube pattern) with colored faces
- Four cube options are displayed below
- Mentally fold the net and select the matching cube
- Each cube shows three visible faces: Top, Front, and Right
- Use keyboard keys 1-4 to quickly select options
Difficulty levels:
- Easy: Cross-shaped net, fixed orientation
- Medium: Cross-shaped net, rotated randomly
- Hard: Various net shapes (T, Z, L), fixed orientation
- Super Hard: Various net shapes (T, Z, L), rotated randomly
Tips for success:
- Identify which face would be on top when folded
- Track which faces are adjacent in the net
- Remember: opposite faces on the net can never touch on the cube
- Practice with easier levels first to build intuition
