⚡ Quick Start
➤
Screen splits into
LEFT
and
RIGHT
streams showing mixed stimuli (numbers, shapes, colors)
➤
Set filters: Choose what to react to in each stream (Any / Numbers / Shapes / Colors)
➤
Both streams run independently
- stimuli can appear on BOTH sides at the same time!
➤
Press
Left Arrow (or A)
for LEFT targets,
Right Arrow (or D)
for RIGHT targets
➤

📘 Detailed Instructions
How to use:
Choose session duration (15-60 seconds)
Set filters for each stream:
Choose what stimulus type to react to
Any:
React to all stimuli (easiest)
Numbers:
React only to numbers (1, 2, 3)
Shapes:
React only to shapes (◆, ▲, ●)
Colors:
React only to colored circles
Set minimum and maximum intervals between stimuli
Press
START TRAINING
or
Space
to begin
The screen splits - target filters shown in corners
CRITICAL:
Both streams run independently - stimuli CAN appear simultaneously!
Press
Left Arrow
(or
A
) when LEFT target appears
Press
Right Arrow
(or
D
) when RIGHT target appears
Ignore non-target stimuli!
Press
Escape
to pause/resume,
Q
to end
What this trains:
Divided Attention:
Monitor both streams simultaneously
Selective Attention:
Filter relevant stimuli
Parallel Processing:
Process multiple stimuli independently
Cognitive Control:
Apply different rules to each stream
Response Inhibition:
Suppress responses to non-targets
Metrics explained:
Total:
All stimuli shown in that stream
Targets:
Stimuli matching your filter
Correct:
Hit your targets
Missed:
Didn't press when target appeared
Wrong:
Pressed for non-target stimulus
False Alarms:
Pressed when no stimulus
Hit Rate:
Correct / Targets (how well you hit targets)
Precision:
Correct / All presses (accuracy of your responses)
